Mask and Dance

Mask and Dance

Invitation to the opening of the "Mask and Dance" exhibition by artist Rana Salama at the Mahmoud Said Museum Center in Alexandria

Between worlds of concealment and liberation, Alexandrian artist Rana Salama takes us on a visual journey, blending profound symbolism with free-flowing expressive energy. Faces hidden behind masks meet the vibrant energy of dancing bodies, revealing aspects of identity, memory, and inner resistance, as seen in the innovative design and distinctive paintings displayed in the exhibition. The Fine Arts Sector, headed by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, is honored to invite you to the opening ceremony in the Ajyal Hall (2) at the Mahmoud Said Museum Center in Alexandria to share in this exceptional artistic experience that transcends convention to express the depth of human struggle and the yearning for freedom.

* Opening date: Friday, June 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM (the exhibition runs until June 30, 2026).

* Visiting hours: Daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (except Fridays and Mondays). * Location: Mahmoud Said Museums Center (6 Mohamed Pasha Street - Gianaclis - Alexandria).
