Mirza Hussein Al-Saleh (born in 1954 AD / 1373 AH in the city of Safwa, Saudi Arabia - January 19, 2019 AD / 12 Jumada Al-Awwal 1440 AH), is a Saudi plastic artist and poet who holds a diploma from the Institute of Art Education for Teachers in Riyadh 1393-92 AH. As a teacher of art education in the cities of Saihat and his hometown of Safwa, one of the pioneers of the second generation in the Saudi plastic movement, among 15 Saudi plastic artists who were chosen by those in charge of the Saudi plastic movement at the time to meet His Royal Highness the late Prince Faisal bin Fahd, General President of Youth Welfare in Saudi Arabia for the purpose of emptying them of plastic art. To push the plastic movement forward and develop it to keep pace with Arab and international plastic art. He has won many awards of first appreciation and encouragement, and many medals of appreciation and distinguished certificates of appreciation. His fellow artists have always praised him for his dedicated giving, initiative and proactive spirit in serving others, noting that his death is a "loss of art."

He held 20 personal exhibitions and participated in more than 350 group exhibitions over a period of 45 years. He participated in many fine, cultural and poetic forums and festivals in Tunisia and Europe, in Paris and Toulouse in France, Leicante in Spain, Morocco, the Gulf states, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Malaysia and Jordan. His paintings were also shown in international exhibitions in Chimia. Rome and Munich. He held 4 personal exhibitions in Salalah, Oman, Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Even after his departure, his career continued to be honored by holding exhibitions of his works, the most prominent of which was the opening of his exhibition in Green Tunis with the participation of the cultural attaché, Dr. Muhammad bin Mudhahi Al-Tom, entitled “Harmony of Colors” in the Arts Gallery in Ben Arous in Tunis, where the artist - may God have mercy on him - intended to hold the exhibition. In late 2018 AD, but passed away. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Governor of Ben Arous Province, the Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs in Ben Arous Province, and a group of Tunisian plastic artists. The exhibition included 28 paintings by the late artist and lasted for five days.

his death
Despite attempts to resuscitate his heart at Safwa General Hospital, it did not work. Doctors officially announced his death at dawn on Friday, January 19, 2019 AD, due to a heart attack. He was buried in Safwa Cemetery, next to his mother’s grave.
