The artist Mohamed Toson is considered the founder of the art of “pictography” or “pictorial calligraphy” and the pioneer of his school in Egypt. He succeeded, with his touches, in combining Arabic calligraphy and fine art.

The influences that affected the artist intellectually and artistically
- I was greatly influenced by the artist Salvador Dali and the artist Salah Taher.
Toson established the artistic doctrine and inspired his works and creations from the verses of the Holy Qur’an. This distinguished artistic trend, which Toson created, is taught in some Saudi universities, including King Abdulaziz University. He also has a large number of students who chose to follow his approach, whom he met through his Facebook group and I listen to it (Toson and the Talking Board).
