Mirrors to the secrets of the soul and spirit… This is how artist Magda Gabr opens windows onto stories she has lived or felt in her exhibition, "A Story for Every Color."
The exhibition presents an inner space where every area on the canvas pulsates with life. Portraits transform from mere silent faces into mirrors that translate human emotions in moments of joy and heartbreak. Domestic creatures—cats and birds—peek from the canvases with an innocence and spontaneity akin to the childlike innocence of the soul. The works become an open invitation for the viewer to contemplate the hidden whispers behind each brushstroke and to read the story with their heart before their eyes.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Nahdet Misr Hall in the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center in Tahrir. It will continue to welcome you daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (except Fridays) until June 28, 2026.
We await you to discover together what lies behind the paintings!
