Agenda Exhibition - 18th Session The Bibliotheca Alexandrina celebrates the opening of the Agenda Exhibition in its 18th session, on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the East and West Exhibition Halls of the Conference Center in the Library Building.
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a place where every seeker of knowledge and science meets, regardless of cultural backgrounds. One of the important events that reflects this spirit is the “Agenda” Exhibition, which we are proud to present for 18 years now; it is a space for the creativity of Egyptian artists from all over the country to meet, presenting many diverse techniques that reflect their belonging to different generations that differ in interests and sources of inspiration, as well as in the form of the final artistic output.
This year, 1,110 applications were registered for participation, and a specialized artistic committee selected the participants, who numbered 187 male and female artists from all over Egypt in all artistic specializations. During this session, we honor the names of artists who have passed away and left their creativity among us as evidence of their continued presence in our conscience; they are the artist Vahan Talbyan and the artist Mustafa El-Feki. We are also pleased to have this year’s guests of honor; the great artists Sereyya Sedky, Ezza Abu El-Saud, and Mervat El-Suwaify. Each of them has a clear impact on the Egyptian visual arts movement, as well as on everyone who was fortunate enough to learn from them.
The exhibition continues until Saturday, February 22, 2025, daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except Fridays.
