The Fine Arts Sector Launches "Beauty" Exhibition by Ceramicist Haitham Hedaya at the Ahmed Shawky Museum

Under the patronage of Dr. Gihan Zaki, Minister of Culture, the Fine Arts Sector, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, will launch the "Beauty" exhibition by ceramicist Haitham Hedaya at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Karma Ibn Hani Center in the Ahmed Shawky Museum.

In his opening remarks, the Head of the Sector, Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, speaking about the upcoming exhibition, says: "The artist Haitham Hedaya's experience in ceramics reveals his passion for authenticity and heritage, stemming from his deep belief in Egyptian identity throughout the ages and its influence on Egyptian art in its various fields, including ceramics, of which Haitham Hedaya is a representative. He strives to present an authentic art, vibrant and imbued with timeless values ​​of beauty." Haitham Hedaya describes his exhibition, "Beauty," as:

"an attempt to capture beauty in everything, to draw inspiration from it, and to showcase its splendor to others in a way that evokes joy, wonder, and interaction—a significant and desirable effect that leads to contemplation, reflection, and creativity. With each attempt, the perception of the depth of details increases, and awareness of their essence grows, offering an opportunity for a more expansive, harmonious, and beautiful reformulation."
The "Beauty" exhibition is scheduled to run until the 23rd of this month.

It is worth noting that the artist Haitham Hedaya was born in 1977 and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Applied Arts, Ceramics Department, 2000.

- Participated in the art scene with numerous exhibitions, competitions, and workshops, including:
- The 4th and 6th Cairo International Ceramics Biennales (1998 and 2020).
- The Youth Salon (14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 22nd editions).
- The 5th South Korea International Ceramics Biennale (2009).
- The International Ceramics Symposium in Tunisia and Serbia, among other local and international events.
- He also won third prize in the General Fine Arts Competition in 2004 and the Ceramica Royal Prize at the 22nd Youth Salon.
- His works are held in the collections of South Korea, China, Tunisia, and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. #FineArtsSector
