His Excellency Ambassador Amr El-Gowily inaugurated the exhibition of the plastic artist Dr. Nagla Ezzat Nagla Ezzat Artwork "Luggage" at the "Art Corner" Hall in Zamalek, on Thursday, September 19, at 7 pm.

The exhibition will continue until October 8, 2024.
"Luggage" exhibition is the title of Nagla Ezzat's artistic creations and also of her upcoming book (in print) which will be available in Arabic and English.
The book combines poetry and art, addressing all forms of luggage, from suitcases to emotional burdens, reviewing the human journey in life and beyond.
The titles of the artworks were inspired by the poetic and prose texts included in the book.
Nagla Ezzat was born in 1975, and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors from Helwan University, then obtained her PhD in 2023.
She worked as a newspaper cartoonist alongside her creative artistic career, and won the State Creativity Grant this year and in previous years from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. She also received an honorary award in the "Egypt Yesterday and Today" competition at the Semiramis Hotel in 2000.

The artist Naglaa Ezzat held her first international solo exhibition at the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, DC in 2001, and her first international group exhibition was at the Academy of Arts in Rome in 1998. She then participated in several exhibitions in America between 2001-2007, including the "Reflections on the New Millennium" exhibition at the World Bank; "Two sessions of the "Outside Borders... Female Artists from Africa" ​​exhibition; and the "Colors of Africa" ​​exhibition in Maine; and she also participated in two sessions of the "Voices of Women from Africa and the African Diaspora" exhibition at the headquarters of Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, and the Kensington Art Festival in Maryland.

As for her second solo exhibition, it was held in Cairo in 2005.

She has also participated throughout her career since 1998 in several exhibitions such as the Port Said Biennale and the General Exhibition sessions Youth Salon courses, Small Business Salon courses, the first exhibition, Gallery Salon, the first exhibition of press drawings, summer exhibitions in Doroob Hall, the White and Black Art Salon in Cordoba Hall, and other exhibitions until 2022.
