The General Exhibition in its 44th At the Palace of Arts
The opening of the 44th session of the general exhibition next Monday
The Fine Arts Sector announces that the opening date of the 44th session of the General Exhibition is next Monday, June 10, 2024, at eight o’clock in the evening, in the presence of Her Excellency the Minister of Culture, Professor Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, starting from the ceremony dedicated to this anticipated session at the Nafoura Theater in the courtyard of the Cairo Opera House.
It is worth noting that this session witnesses for the first time the expansion of the artistic display scenario to include 6 exhibition halls: (Al-Bab - Salah Taher - Palace of Arts - Al-Hanager - Nahdet Misr - Isis), and for the first time there is also (the honorees’ show - a show for Arab artists residing in Egypt - a show For artists who departed within a year), in addition to the main show, which includes 311 participating artists, and His Highness the artist Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the National Council for the Arts in the Kingdom of Bahrain, will be the guest of honor for this session.
The opening ceremony is sponsored by Art Cairo.
The activities of this session will continue until July 31, 2024, and will include many activities, seminars and events that were prepared and selected for the accompanying cultural program that will be announced later.
