Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nasef, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, and within the framework of the Authority's role in developing the artistic movement in Egypt and targeting the selection of diverse Egyptian environments and the selection of a group of plastic artists to live with the people of this environment, the General Administration of Fine Arts and Environmental Crafts, headed by the artist / Vivian Al-Batanooni, affiliated with the Central Administration for Artistic Affairs, headed by the artist / Tamer Abdel Moneim, chose the environment of (Abnub) and the surrounding areas in Assiut Governorate to hold the "First Abnub Ceremonies Forum for Drawing and Photography", which is being held for the first time within the framework of activating new venues for ceremonies in Assiut Governorate (Assiut Culture Branch - Central Upper Egypt Cultural Region) in the period from 2024/8/25 to 2024/9/4. It is worth noting that the "First Abnub Ceremonies Forum for Drawing and Photography" includes 15 artists from the plastic artists, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Thabet Badari (Commissioner of the Forum). The forum is held under the supervision of The General Administration of Fine Arts and Environmental Crafts will prepare and equip it. A fine arts exhibition will be held with the production of the participating artists in the forum in a distinguished hall in Cairo after the forum ends. The participating artists will be honored by handing them certificates of appreciation during the opening of the exhibition.
