Riyadh Art Program announced the names of the artists participating in the sixth edition of the Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium, which will be held at the Roshan Front under the slogan "From Time to Time: The Joy of the Journey in its Difficulties" during the period from January 15 to February 8, 2025, in addition to the accompanying exhibition that hosts the sculptures in their final form from February 12 to February 24, 2025.

The Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium, one of the projects of the Riyadh Art Program, which is one of the major projects in Riyadh that was launched on March 19, 2019, aims to prepare a community platform for artistic and cultural exchange through community partnership programs, workshops, dialogue sessions and various activities, and enhances artistic practices as an essential part of the cultural fabric of cities.

The registration period witnessed a wide turnout to participate in the sixth edition of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium; by receiving more than 750 applications for participation from 80 countries around the world; The applications were evaluated by an independent committee of experts and specialists in the field of art and sculpture, and 30 artists representing 23 countries were selected to participate in creating public art sculptures using stones from the Kingdom to be part of the cultural art scene of the capital.

The sixth edition of the forum includes: Artistic curator Sebastian Betancur Montoya, an artist in the architectural field, and Artistic curator Dr. Manal Al-Harbi, a specialist in the art of sculpture.

The Artistic Curator of Tuwaiq Sculpture, Sebastian Betancur Montoya, said: "This year, we celebrate the ongoing challenges faced by the artist, which constitute a major source of inspiration, enabling everyone to create a legacy that connects the past to the present and the future in innovative human ways."

It is worth noting that the Tuwaiq International Sculpture Forum aims to encourage artists from all over the world to create distinguished artworks that contribute to spreading creativity throughout the capital through the cooperation of artists from different cultures and backgrounds; The sixth edition includes interactive workshops, school visits, discussion panels and many accompanying events that will be announced via social media platforms and the official website of the Riyadh Art Program.
