Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani - Minister of Culture; Prof. Dr. Hisham Azmy - Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Culture is honored; Dr. Happy Hosni - Rapporteur of the Fine Arts and Architecture Committee; Inviting you to attend and follow the symposium “Hazem Al-Mestakawi...the artist and the human being”; This will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at six in the evening, in the hall of the Supreme Council of Culture.
This symposium comes within the framework of honoring the name of the late plastic artist Hazem Al-Mestakawi - member of the Fine Arts and Architecture Committee, in the presence of his family, friends and lovers.
The symposium also includes a screening of a documentary film about the late artist’s biography, his upbringing and beginnings, and an analysis of his artistic works.
• The symposium is run by:
- Dr. Happy Hosni - Rapporteur of the Fine Arts and Architecture Committee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University.
• Speakers:
- A word from the family of the deceased: artist Noha Naji.
- Prof. Dr. Safia Al-Qabbani - Head of the Fine Artists Syndicate, member of the committee.
- Prof. Dr. Essam Darwish - Professor at the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University, member of the committee.
- Eng. Ahmed Al-Satohi - museum design consultant, committee member.
