Aya Al-Falah, graduate of fine arts in 2008, born in Cairo in 1986. She lived and studied there and developed her artistic personality, using the method of diagnosis to express her thoughts and feelings. Then she moved to live in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, with her husband in 2013. The geographical location and the difference in culture had a magical effect on her artistic style. Painting is an arena for play and experimentation without restrictions. Then she lost a member of her family, and going through that harsh experience confirmed to her that the abstract style is the most appropriate way to express what she feels and not just a passing artistic experience.
With it, she escaped from reality to a virtual world that she created for herself in her painting and combined it with representation, but abstraction remains dominant. Traveling and moving through different cultures affects her interests and her mind to come up with new and beautiful pieces of art. In addition, teaching art was a very important crossroads, as she learned from different people. Ages range from young to old and even children, and the spirit of her works is reflected in her.
“Al-Falah” has participated in many artistic and cultural events in Egypt and around the world since 2004 including; Malaysia, Italy, Germany, Ivory Coast, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, France, Kuwait and England, 53 group exhibitions, and 3 solo exhibitions, “Back Garden”, Al Jazeera Arts Center, “Modeling”, Méridien Dahab Hotel, “Monsters” Artsmart Gallery.. She received awards from: Made In Hall, Italy, Fine Arts Lovers Association, 20th Youth Salon Award, Egypt.
