Dr. Taha Hussein Hadeel, the cultural attache in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Embassy of Al-Saeed Yemen, and in the presence of artistic figures from Saudi plastic artists, led by Mr. Saleh Al-Nuqaidan, Mr. Ali Al-Ruzaiza, and Mr. Fahd Al-Rabeeq. In his article, Professor Al-Kaf launched the title “Saudi Mosaic Painter” on the Saudi female writer and plastic artist. Dr. Mona Al-Hamoud after his deep reading of the symbols of her painting, which she called “The Day of Eternity”, which she had shown in the Artistic Radiance Exhibition (3) held on the grounds of the Hall of the Forum of Civilizations for Arts in the capital, Riyadh.. which was under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Hind bint Abdul Rahman Al Saud. Where Al-Kaf wrote that this painting is one of the Saudi mosaic paintings, which was painted with a beautiful artistic tone, and it was one of the most beautiful paintings in the exhibition because of the meanings and symbolism of this painting and the interest in the folklore and heritage that abounds in the cities of the Kingdom, a diverse cultural aesthetic written by the fingers of the ever-creative Saudi plastic artist, Dr. Mona Al-Hamoud, who entertains us with a very beautiful artistic performance with her wonderful paintings in every exhibition and forum that takes place in the regions of the Kingdom, and she is invited to participate in these exhibitions to be a distinguishing mark and a distinctive addition to the distinction of her beautiful drawings, and depth in the selection and consistency of colors and their harmony and distribution with extreme precision to provide us with music and melody The melodious and rhythmic rhythm of the folkloric models delights the beholder, and we have the right to call her the painter of the Saudi mosaic. For her part, Dr. Al-Hamoud announced the details and philosophy of her painting: The idea of the painting was inspired by the events of the founding day of last year, as on the “Boulevard” page, it was the herald of the beginning of a new era for the joy of the kind, who are the beautiful women. Mouthpiece: “Smile safely” “Rejoice without censorship over your pure heart” “Be with your spontaneity and your beauty preserved within yourself” “Your place is preserved in the convoy of the happy”!! .. It was echoed by the rhythms of performances, folkloric games, and the chords of strings and rhythms from around my memory .. My painting bears symbolism ( Coexistence) We are in a country that enjoys cultural diversity in all its cultural symbols, and it is a truly mosaic society.. In order to preserve this blessing that we were granted, (coexistence) was the only way!!. Coexistence briefly involves self-preservation and acceptance of the different as another that this self opens up to.. This concept appeared in the painting through the exchange of traditional inherited clothes between the girls of the painting, at the top of each dress in order to preserve the identity (the self). Then each garment ends with a variety of symbols from other cultures, represented by (the other). It was not only that, in my painting it was a symbol of the female in some ancient civilizations, and they relied on the idea of a large number of fish eggs, so it was a symbol of sustainable life. Finally, the tulip flower appeared, which is a symbol of steadfastness and loftiness. Thus, in my country, the female is lofty, steadfast, and possible, with her own steadfastness and coexistence internally and externally. It was the color of lavender. As for the background, it was of an aesthetic nature only without any symbolism.
