Samir Al-Daham is a Saudi plastic artist. He was born in Jubail in 1374 AH (1955 AD). He is considered one of the pioneers of plastic art in Saudi Arabia, and one of the generation of plastic artists who were apprenticed by the founding generation of art in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was appointed Chairman of the Fine Arts Committee and Chairman of the Media and Publishing Committee in the Culture and Arts Association in 1977 AD. He also worked as a supervisor of the Arts Department in (Al-Jazeera) newspaper from 1976 AD.

He participated with a group of Saudi plastic artists, including Ali bin Abdulaziz Al-Raziza, Nasser Al-Turki, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hujailan, Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Najim, Muhammad bin Fara Ali, and Fawaz bin Fahd Abu Nayan.

One of the most prominent paintings by Al-Daham is the painting “The Martyr Muhammad Al-Durrah”, which was placed by the writer Ghazi Al-Qusaibi as a cover for his book (Oh, the ransom of your eyes).
The painting (People's Neighborhood) won the second prize from the Ministry of Culture and Information at the Saudi Contemporary Art Exhibition in 1427 AH.
One of his works was chosen to be displayed in the building of the VIP lounge at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh in 1988. It is a woven panel of carpet measuring 7 meters by 2 meters high.
