Khalid Abdulla Al-Muharraqi is a digital artist and the founder of Muharraqi Studios, a company that specializes in CG art and architectural visualization. He is also the son of Abdulla Al Muharraqi, a renowned painter, artist, cartoonist and designer from Bahrain. Khalid was born in Bahrain and educated in the United States. He studied digital art design at the University of Houston and apprenticed to his father. He has worked on projects for international clients such as OMA, Atkins, and Skidmore, Owings and Merril (SOM). He also creates digital paintings that explore themes such as desert art, mythology, human form and cyborg futurism. He is considered one of the leading digital artists in the region and has won several awards and recognition for his work. He is passionate about expressing his heritage and culture through his art.
