The influences that were reflected on the artist intellectually and artistically
- `A Dialogue Between the Mujassam and the Messam`.
The first man began recording his thoughts and life circumstances by engraving on stone. And the ancient Egyptians took it as a symbol of will, strength, steadfastness, eternity, and solidity. The stone has aesthetics that are evident when exposed to light, including its surfaces, axes, curves, cavities, textures, and colors.
- On the way of my journey to Sinai, I was affected by the stones that captured to me what he went through in terms of his suffering and what he went through in terms of his boasts. The wars suffered and they were revered by God Almighty when he spoke to Moses, peace be upon him, on the mountain.
- The stone is the unit of the mountain, in which the precious things of nature lie, including mineral materials and natural plants, which give the masses colors and attractiveness, so that the shape dialogues with the color and creates an aesthetic arrangement.
- When I contemplated the stones in front of me around the palm trees in our studio in Haraniya, my thoughts opened and I recalled the memories of my trip to Sinai.
- This prompted me to express the meanings that lie in the stone and what it carries of memories and events recorded on it by the departed and those who departed, and what it received of the factors of time, with the raw material of the burnt Aswan clay.
