He held the position of Head of the Photography Department in 1969.
He held the position of Vice Dean of the College of Fine Arts in 1973.
He was seconded to work in South Yemen in 1976.
He was assigned to teach at Cairo University, Ain Shams, the Alexandria College of Art, the Leonard Da Vinci Institute, and finally a full-time artist for artistic production until his death in 1981.
