Biography
Hanan Milad, a visual artist and Byzantine iconographer from the city of Nazareth.
Since the very beginning of my artistic journey, passion for color and expressive creation has been the driving force behind establishing and nurturing a distinctive artistic movement in my hometown.
• Co-founder of the “Golden Fingers Group for Fine Arts” since 2010 at the Mahmoud Darwish Cultural Center in Nazareth.
• Founding member of the “Nazareth Association for Fine Arts” since 2018.
• Served as the representative of Nazareth and its surroundings, as well as a member of the Art Committee at the “Art Lovers of the Peaks Club” during 2016.
• President of the World Federation of Arab Artists – Talents Branch, for the past five years.
• Owner of “Hanan Milad Art” Gallery and Atelier in Nazareth.
• Art instructor for all age groups at my private studio since 2018.
Each year, I organize high-level annual exhibitions for my students, showcasing their talents and creative expressions to a wide audience.
One of my major achievements was organizing a grand exhibition for my students in 2020, featuring over 300 artworks across various artistic schools such as Surrealism, Realism, Cubism, and more, attended by over 600 guests.
To date, I have participated in more than 45 collective art exhibitions, both locally and internationally.
I am constantly aspiring to take part in new exhibitions that tackle diverse intellectual and humanitarian topics, conveying noble messages through my Byzantine icons and various artistic styles.
I firmly believe that art carries a noble message, and I strive to reach the widest possible audience, especially the younger generation, to promote a refined artistic culture and to strengthen high moral and human values in society, far from all forms of violence.
