Our first meeting was with the Saudi visual artist Abdullah Al-Ahmari, one of the partners in the Art Vision Gallery (Vision of Art) and the director of the gallery, where paintings by many Saudi artists are displayed and where workshops and training courses are also held, presented by international experts and artists.
Al-Ahmari introduced us to Art Vision, saying: “It is a company that has several activities and fields, including the Art Vision hall that displays the works of distinguished artists, and an arts training center that offers various artistic workshops at several levels for children, adults, and professionals.”
He added: “In the workshops, we host international and local artists. Some time ago we hosted a Dutch artist who held very successful workshops, and today we are hosting the artist Saud Al-Qahtani, who is considered one of the most important Saudi artists. He presented a workshop for a large number of trainees and showed an excellent level of art and excellent results.”
Regarding the art gallery and the valuable artistic works it contains today, he said: “Art Vision attracts an elite group of local and international artists, and currently we are displaying paintings by more than 22 Saudi male and female artists who participated in Misk Week in Riyadh and presented a wonderful show of which we are proud.”
An upward curve for Saudi art
Saudi visual artist Abdullah Al-Ahmari
Regarding their experience with Misk and the impressions it generated, he noted: “It was an excellent experience with a high level of sophistication and professionalism, and this is not a new thing for us as Art Vision. We always present quality exhibitions of value and high artistic professionalism, and we realize this through the presence of the audience, their interaction and their positive reactions.” "
Regarding the paintings displayed in the hall, Al-Ahmari said: “They are works based on a group of diverse artistic techniques and styles that stem from the artists’ experiences, their artistic orientations, the schools they follow, and the stories from which they draw inspiration. All of them are paintings with deep, non-superficial meanings and dimensions, executed in a very attractive and striking way.”
The Saudi artist considered that “Saudi art has been taking a rapid upward trend for years, and this trend is becoming more consolidated with the goals of Vision 2030, which gives the cultural sector in all its branches special importance because of its impact on the development of societies, educating them, and improving their social framework.”
He concluded by saying: “We at Art Vision take upon ourselves the responsibility of showing art in the Kingdom in its correct, sophisticated, sophisticated and inspiring form.
