A visual artist, born in Abha in 1373 AH. I worked as an art education teacher, and devoted myself full time to fine arts, sculpture, and architectural designs after retirement. I was the first Arab artist to implement murals in 36 years, and models since 1399 AH in Abha, Khamis Mushait, and Al-Harjah. I designed the Abha Airport Bridge, and I also established the first amateur studio in the Kingdom in 1398 AH. I spent my childhood in Abha. My mother was a painter, from whom I learned art and love of colours, and my father was an engineer, from whom I learned courage to think, produce, and not give up, may God have mercy on them. My father and mother were keen to encourage me to continue, my mother was my inspiration, and my father was interested in displaying my work at home, so I felt the importance of my talent and did not stop drawing and designing after that. I was influenced first by my mother and my father’s support. My father, may God have mercy on him, would encourage me to draw with water and sugar and then cover it with sand, so I would see my painting transform from imagination to reality, and that was my first painting. Then the concept of formation gradually increased from year to year, and I went through many stages of drawing, participated in several exhibitions, and refined my talent through study, visits, travel, and knowledge, and influence is necessary as culture and inspiration, not imitation. Every artist has his own unique style. My drawing styles ranged from classical to abstract, to symbolic surrealism, to impressionism, to realism... and I did not restrict myself to one style. Because I think it is wrong for an artist to continue on one line, approach, school, or style, but renewal is required. As in the murals, I took the painting out into the street and the field and became known for my work in many government agencies and international exhibitions through it. I consider murals to be my own school, followed by many in the Kingdom. Adding my works to art education curricula is evidence of the distinctiveness of my drawing style that I adopted and was inspired by nature. There is an exhibition that I held in the year 1395 AH and which my mother - may God have mercy on her - opened, and then an exhibition that I held with the artist Beckham in the year 1397 AH, and several exhibitions that I held that exceeded eleven exhibitions, praise be to God, in Abha, Riyadh, Khamis Mushait, and Al-Harjah. I also have many possessions in the Royal Court, the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Interior, the General Presidency of Youth Welfare and Passports in Riyadh, King Khalid International Airport, and King Fahd Airport. Also, a painting of me was printed on Greenpeace ships in France. She participated in many exhibitions outside the Kingdom in London, America, Germany, Turkey, Damascus, Cairo, Senegal, Iraq, Iran, Bangladesh, Algeria, Morocco, Australia, Japan and Korea. She also participated in exhibitions such as: • Arab League Exhibition in 1401 AH. • Riyadh exhibitions between yesterday and today. • Bahrain Bridge opening exhibition. • Saudi exhibitions in India and the Sultanate of Oman The United Arab Emirates, Senegal, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Germany and the United States of America. • Exhibitions organized by the General Presidency for Youth inside and outside the Kingdom since 1396 AH until the end of the Presidency’s term. • Energy Exhibition in the United States of America in 1401, Vancouver Exhibition 76 AD. My message to every citizen or resident: You are in a country that God honored and chose to serve the Sacred House, and we are honored by that. He chose Mecca as the first building on the face of the Earth, and humanity and civilizations extended from Mecca to spread over the human planet. Then he chose the Seal of the Prophets from the heart of Mecca, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in this time, God decided and chose To his pure house, successors for the Rightly Guided Caliphs - the House of Saud - to rule this land, so be blessed, O citizen and resident, and be a helper in construction and development to build the good human being and the promising generation.
