She obtained a BA in English Literature from King Saud University in 1980 AD, and worked as an English language teacher heading girls’ education, then assistant director of the Arts Center at the Al-Nahda Society. She also attended many courses in plastic arts, and trained with female artists specialized in this field, such as; Liz Batayneh, Alex Denzler, Jane Brubaker, and Lee Cholomey.
She has been a member of the Saudi Society for Fine Arts “GSFT” since 2006, a founding member of the Saudi Society for Heritage Preservation since 2010, and a member of the Saudi Scientific Society for Art and Design since 2017.
She participated in local exhibitions in 1987 AD, and began participating in exhibitions of the Presidency of Youth Welfare inside and outside the Kingdom from 1988 AD to 2004 AD, such as exhibitions of collectibles, contemporary art, the Kingdom between yesterday and today, and exhibitions of plastic artists. She also participated in some exhibitions of the Janadriyah Festival, and exhibitions held under the supervision of the American and British embassies. , Dutch, Italian, and Hindi.
She also participated in all (Ain Sara) exhibitions, and her participation exceeded 83 group exhibitions, and she won many awards. She held 3 personal exhibitions and a duo exhibition. Her works varied between oil colors, pastels, acrylics, and lino printing, but she was distinguished by her watercolor works.
She showed interest in heritage topics, and her paintings were distinguished by their vibrant colors and their inclusion of elements from the environment and plants. She believes that one of the messages of plastic art is to stimulate a pleasurable feeling through the beauty of the colors of the painting, its subject, or its movement. Her works are acquired in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Britain, France, and America. Italy and Denmark by individuals and institutions.
