At a point in my life I was under pressure and in a difficult situation, so my sister Dina, a visual artist and interested in criticism, art courses and workshops, asked me to take courses at her studio in order to stay away from thinking, and from the first training course I fell in love with drawing and colours. From whom did you receive support and encouragement, and who was your role model? My first supporter in art is my sister Dina. She is a fan of abstract art, an art curator, and has art collections. From the first time she saw one of my paintings, she knew that I was an artist, and my fellow artists also supported me, and the Misk Foundation was one of my biggest supporters, as were cultural and arts associations. In the Kingdom. For me, my role model is every outstanding artist in abstract art. What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them? The challenges are many, including the lack of entities that market artists’ works, in addition to the lack of an incubator for visual artists. However, praise be to God, I believe that the presence of institutions and programs that support artists, in addition to Vision 2030, makes us optimistic that the future is more beautiful.
