Saeed Al-Alawi, the visual artist, is an Omani artist born in the city of Sur in the Sultanate of Oman. He spent his primary and intermediate education in Kuwait, where he studied in schools such as Al-Farabi, Al-Hariri, and Al-Mirqab. He completed his secondary education in the Sultanate of Oman in the city of Sur at Ahmed Bin Majid School. He obtained a diploma from the Intermediate College of Teachers in the Sultanate of Oman, in 1988. His specialty was social studies, and he worked as a teacher from 1988 until 1998.
