The artist Makram Al-Taweel graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo in 1967 from the Department of Decoration. The artist Ahmed Nawar, Gamal Al-Marja, Mamoun Al-Sheikh, Mahmoud Hammam, Saber Mahmoud, and the artist Makram Al-Taweel worked throughout his life in the field of decoration. Decoration on Egyptian television seemed to have a clear imprint on all of its works, which were characterized by dignity and dazzling and which were praised by everyone, and among these works was “Ramadan Fawazir” which brought joy to the Egyptian people and all Arab countries...for example, Nelly’s Fawazir, Fattuta, Uncle Fouad’s Fawazir, Al-Khattab, My bride also had a great influence on television series such as Koki Kak and The Miracle Child.

He also performed television concerts and plays, such as Ali Al-Hattab / The Treasure / The Enchanted Peach / and also performed concerts for Abdel Halim Hafez, Abdel-Al, Eid Al-Falah, and the Childhood Festival. He also received the Golden Award for the episodes The Mind Wins / and the United Nations and People’s Fashion episodes.
He also received a sabbatical award from the Ministry of Culture
Among his pictorial works is “A large mural of the entrance to Egyptian television.”
Dr. Mustafa Al-Feki adds, “It was a surprise for me, as I saw many works inside a studio in Heliopolis with a special style, and most of them expressed a special expression about (Nubia) and its customs and traditions, with an artistic performance characterized by long experience, with all the artistic resistance and good performance he possesses.”

Al-Faqi points out that the artist is very careful about his works and is careful about displaying them due to his great care for them, but they deserve to be seen by the largest possible number of people interested in authentic art that expresses the Egyptian environment in a distinctive way and in a style that reflects his experience and mastery.
