Artist Hamdy Mahmoud holds a diploma from the Egyptian Academy in Rome. He participated in many group exhibitions inside and outside Egypt and held more than one personal exhibition.
Regarding his experience, the great artist and critic Dr. Saleh Reda, former head of the Syndicate of Plastic Artists, says: One of the most important things that today’s artists aspire to is discovering themselves through the course of temporal events, and some of them may stray from the right path towards achieving this because modernity has basic conditions towards achieving (the essence of the vision) the modern vision. It is not the product of a modern form as much as it is a vision to discover new human desires. Therefore, the dramatic element in the form of the artistic work must be clear, thereby fulfilling the most important condition of the artistic work, which is a vision that is not preceded by the visions of others.
