Dr. Lina Kattan

- 2022: Head of the Department of Painting and Arts, College of Design and Art, University of Jeddah.

- 2015: She obtained degrees in many disciplines, including: art, philosophy, theater, and music in the field of visual arts, where she ranked first in her batch.

2015: Obtained a specialization in women's studies from the University of Texas.

- 2006: She obtained a master's degree in Islamic arts from King Abdulaziz University, and also obtained the highest cumulative average in the program.

- 2004: Appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Arts at King Abdulaziz University.

- 1999: Obtained a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Arts from King Abdulaziz University, with the highest GPA in the program.

Among her most prominent achievements are many researches related to the image of women in artistic orientalism, royal rights, studies of interpreting artistic connotations, as well as the science of symbols and their impact on reading and analyzing works of art, theater arts and dramatic production.
