How did you get started in the world of fine art?
My talent began many years ago, specifically when I was in middle school, when I joined a specialized studio for 4 years, which included an accredited academic study, which helped me develop my talent, and allowed me to participate in exhibitions from the age of 15, with various paintings, and I won Praise be to God, distinguished awards and certificates at the time.
And my professional career as an art education teacher, then an art education supervisor, and a trainer of art education teachers, is one of the important stations that added a lot to me, and through which I gained a lot of experience, as this helped me to prove myself and develop myself culturally and skillfully, praise be to God, and Over time, fine art became "my life".
Tell us about your private studio, Chalk.
I established my own studio “Chalk” 15 years ago, when I chose to apply for my early retirement in order to devote myself to my project that I dreamed of in establishing the studio, and I supervised its implementation myself step by step. My studio includes a children’s hall and a women’s hall, as well as a chalk café To meet a team of women artists from the region on a monthly basis, and to incubate the permanent volunteer initiatives that we take, such as the Childhood Initiative.
What's next?
Get ready soon to participate with a group of male and female artists (Graphic Group), headed by the distinguished graphic artist Abdul Rahman Al-Mutawa, to hold several exhibitions in more than one country, starting with Romania, then Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and others, God willing.

Fine art has witnessed a great prosperity in recent years and a remarkable turnout by adults and children, and the desire of Saudi women for this art has become clear, due to people’s awareness of the importance of art and its role in the development and advancement of society, and I hope that this art will receive the care it deserves , and the necessary support for its advancement, and that special exhibition halls be opened to open larger areas to embrace artistic talents.
What is your advice to every Saudi girl who has a talent for drawing?
My advice is that she strives to develop her talent and not to stop developing herself, and to strive to practice this art that is always enjoyable, to feel its charm and aesthetics. When we look at the aesthetics of things, we will live better, and I may have translated that by launching a lecture with my colleague entitled "The Aesthetic View" And the implications of this art on our behavior and our relationship with others
