The plastic artist, Abdul Rahman Al-Ajlan, was distinguished by his unique creativity, through which he aims to highlight the topics he presents, through his noticeable presence in group plastic exhibitions, which are held on several occasions, because he uses the tools of his talent in two fields: plastic drawing on the one hand and sculpture on the other hand.

In light of these indications, we should mention, what is worth mentioning, that he - i.e. Al-Ajlan - was born in Al-Hariq Governorate, a member of the Culture and Arts Association, and a founding member of the Alwan Fine Arts Group. He is a graduate of King Fahd Security College and currently works at the Riyadh region’s passport offices.

He participated in (65) different exhibitions, whether internal or external, including those held in Bahrain, Austria, Tunisia, Jordan, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and the Sultanate of Oman. The objectives and names of these exhibitions were multiple and varied according to the occasion prepared for creating the fine art exhibitions in which he participated. It is mentioned that the first exhibition His participation in the second plastic arts exhibition of the Kingdom’s artists was held in the year (1405 AH) in the city of Abha, followed one year later by his participation in (3) exhibitions, most notably the plastic art exhibition at the third Janadriyah Festival for Heritage and Culture for that year.

The artist Al-Ajlan has received many awards and shields of appreciation due to many distinguished contributions that have increased his value and given him a distinguished status among many names that have a presence in the same field.

Among what Al-Ajlan relies on in his graphic works is the geometric construction of them. The circle and straight and curved lines play a major role in the composition of most of his paintings. Through a strong heritage background mixed with modernity and realism, he is able to mix features and complete final images, and with his possession of the creative material, the final painting is ultimately formed. Expressing good behavior to the recipients.

As for the sculptural forms that he produces, you see that they are usually full of movement and depict the event in its finest details, and you always find all the solutions available in him with the color of movement, which gives his works remarkable vitality and diversity. You usually find them made of simple stone or even some rocks, and he also touches on wood, showing you amazing shapes in the form that follows. Receiving it and running with your eyes to look at a piece of art, the recipient wants nothing more than to acquire it, inspired by the strength of quality visible in this sculptural work. Most of the works that Al-Ajlan produces are usually distinguished by the fact that they make you feel the calm dialogue and the dancing movement with positive, indirect linear treatment. And amidst the period of searching for their originalities and merits in an obsession with the artistic issues presented to the followers, you find that he has led to everyone with the splendor of creativity derived, of course, from heritage.
